A Stand-Up Base That Actually Fits a Quilt
Most flat vacuum bags are cut for clothing. A quilt or a duvet is a three-dimensional object, so a flat bag has to be over-sized in two directions just to wrap it, and the surplus film folds into ridges that trap air and pull against the seal line. This 3D stand-up base vacuum compression bag takes the opposite approach: the bottom gusset opens into a box-shaped base, the bag stands upright on its own, and the bedding settles straight down instead of spreading sideways.
That bottom gusset is the reason the format works for bulky textiles. Folded quilts, winter duvets and thick blankets enter the bag as a block rather than being flattened into a single sheet, so the load keeps a regular shape and the side walls stay vertical while the air is drawn out. Sizes in this series carry a 30 cm, 38 cm or 44 cm bottom gusset depending on the format, and the gusset depth is listed for every item in the size table below.
Self-Sealing Valve vs. a Standard Valve
A standard round valve is a one-way check valve: it lets air out when a pump or vacuum source is applied and closes again on its own, but the operator still has to handle the closing step separately. The self-sealing valve used here combines the check valve with a self-closing seat, so the valve seals itself as soon as the suction stops. There is no separate cap to screw on before the bag is moved, stacked or carried.
For a B2B range this matters at the packing station as much as in the home. A self-sealing round valve shortens the cycle per bag, removes a loose cap from the process, and keeps the sealing surface covered while the compressed item waits in a stack. The round valve seat is also the same footprint used across this series, so one pump nozzle or household vacuum adapter serves every size.

Eleven formats are offered in milky white film, all with the same self-sealing round valve and the same stand-up bottom gusset construction. Four formats use PET/PE at 0.065 mm and seven use PA/PE at 0.07 mm; all dimensions below are written as width × length × bottom gusset in centimetres.

Choosing Between PET/PE and PA/PE
PET/PE at 0.065 mm is a straight two-layer film: polyester outside for print and abrasion resistance, polyethylene inside for heat sealing and for contact with the textile. It is the economical route for retail multipacks, mail-order bedding sets and volume programmes where the bag is used once per season.
PA/PE at 0.07 mm adds a nylon layer. Nylon brings puncture resistance and flexibility, which is the difference between a bag that survives a corner of a folded quilt frame and one that pin-holes during handling or repeated stacking. It also keeps the film supple at the fold lines of the stand-up base, so the gusset opens cleanly each time the bag is loaded. For warehouse reserve stock, hotel and hospitality linen programmes, and any item that is compressed, stored and re-opened more than once, the nylon construction is the more durable choice.
