Why Kraft Paper Is Laminated with PET/PE
A stand-up pouch has to do two jobs at once: hold its shape on the shelf and protect the contents from moisture and air. Brown kraft paper on its own does neither well, so we laminate it with PET and PE. The kraft layer carries the natural brown look and the printed artwork, the PET film adds structure and toughness, and the inner PE layer provides the heat seal that closes the bag.
The result is a pouch with a paper hand-feel on the outside and a film surface on the inside. Both sizes in this range are made from 150 micron laminated material, and the finished pouch is BPA free.
Stand-Up Bottom: What the Gusset Does
The bottom of the bag is folded into a double gusset that opens into an oval footprint once the pouch is filled. On the 127×198 mm size the gusset measures 38×2 mm; on the 140×258 mm size it measures 40×2 mm. That footprint is what lets the pouch stand upright on a shelf or inside a display carton without any support.

Zipper Top and Clear Window Options
Both pouches are closed with a zipper top, so a pack can be resealed after it has been opened instead of being clipped or transferred to another container. The 140×258 mm version adds a 140×50 mm transparent window, which keeps the product itself visible while the rest of the front panel stays kraft brown.

Packing, Lead Time and Typical Loads
Coffee beans, roasted nuts and similar dry goods are the usual loads for this construction: the kraft exterior suits natural and specialty food brands, the zipper keeps the pack usable across several openings, and the window version lets buyers see the roast or grade before purchase.
Pouches are packed 200 pcs per PE bag, 25 bags (5,000 pcs) per carton, with each carton weighing 10.4 kg. Minimum order quantity is 50,000 pcs and production lead time is 10–15 days. The factory holds ISO9001 and BSCI certification, the material is FDA compliant and RoHS tested, and the pouch is BPA free.
